On Sunday May 3rd, 2020 Children of El Shaddai Ministry (COESIM) in Kesavaram India, embarked on a project to provide meals to some of the less fortunate members of the community in the village during Covid-19 outbreak.
Pastor James and his wife Esther, organized the event with the support and help from members of the congregation along with funding provided by COESIM USA. It was very heartwarming to hear that the villagers also contributed vegetables and eggs from their own small backyard farms. The meal consisted of a pack of cooked rice, lentil soup and a boiled egg.
Due to the prevailing curfew in all parts of India, the logistics of getting the food packets to individual households was quite a challenge. Pastor James and his team somehow managed to distribute 125 lunch packs by walking to the houses of 40 families and a few elders including members of a community suffering with leprosy.
Thanks be to our Lord who multiplied the offerings which fed many.
